Your massage session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music will be played to help you relax, you will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.
Your session will be conducted by a professional who has received the proper training and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.
You will be dressed to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped during the session. The practitioner will leave the room while you get on the table, you will cover yourself up with a clean sheet and blanket before she enters the room. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable, only the area being worked on will be exposed.
What parts of your body will be massaged? A full body session will include work on the back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck and shoulders. You WILL NOT be touched on or near your genitals or breasts (male or female)
A light oil or lotion may be used to permit your muscles to be worked on. The lubricants used will hydrate the skin and be readily absorbed.
How long will the session last? An average full-body massage session lasts approximately 1 hour unless 1 1/2 hours is requested. Many people prefer a sixty to ninty minute session for optimal relaxation.
During your massage session, make yourself comfortable, you may wish to talk during the session, you may wish to totally relax and not say a word. The choice is up to you. Most benefit when they can just relax and enjoy the soft music.

Most people feel very relaxed after a massage. After your initial period of feeling totally relaxed, most people experience increased energy, heighten awareness, greater productivity, which can last for days.
Toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage so it is very important for you to drink plenty of water, unless your doctor has told you to limit liquids.
